DataShredder Corporation was founded by Miguel Burgos in 2005 the old-fashioned way – with one truck and one employee. Although the company has grown considerably, DataShredder is still a family-run business. Miguel and his wife Rosie are still very active in the business, but the company is managed today by his wife, Rosie Burgos. The Burgos family and their team continue to carry on the tradition of exemplary customer service on which the business was originally founded.

Our Growing Business Model

DataShredder started as a document destruction company and while we are still experts in document shredding in the Boston area and beyond, the company’s offerings have diversified over the past 18+ years to include hard drive shredding, computer, and battery recycling.

Our Philosophy

DataShredder was built on a very strong ethical foundation with an entrepreneurial spirit. Our goal is to help our clients to find solutions to their security, destruction, documentation, and recycling challenges and enable them to focus on their own day-to-day operations. Our goal is to eliminate the worry that comes with the destruction and recycling of all types of paper, e-waste recycling, and other materials.
